WELLER'S TALE is a graphic horror DEMO videogame where the player will live in first person the story of a disturbed mother who has been abandoned by her husband and gradually plunges into a madness caused by a paranoid disease.
FEATURES:
- 15 to 20 minute playthrough.
- Simple gameplay and minimal UI, to completely focus on the lore and the environment.
- Immersive atmosphere and envolvent sound design.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
- Modern dedicated graphics cards required. Old graphic cards will not support the Unreal Engine lighting system and game won't work.
- Windows (will not work on MacOS or Linux).

nice short game, however i do think the story needs explained more especialy with what happened with the daughter.

The game looks great, the story was a bit typical but interesting enough, and the game kept itself on the edge of dread more than scary. Not bad at all for a student project, looking forward to see how your future games turn out.

The husband left us, because he could not handle us anymore and our daughter is dead because of I don't know why, but there were no traces that any violence was used against her?

Also for extra mentioning "UE5" there were many blurry items like the books and such stuff, I would not advertise it with UE5 especially.
Maybe I just did not understand the whole story, but unfortunately I was not very impressed by this game.
It only lasted around half an hour, so that might be the reason for the short story parts.
I really liked the idea of a mother that falls into paranoia though, very good idea for a setting.

The game is really good but why is the beginning of the game is too dark, I can't see anything and then i got an error so I can't play the whole game when it give at beginning error when I tried to restart the game it didn't star anymore maybe need fixing but best of luck keep it up!
It shouldn't give those errors... It could be due to the Windows version, the type of hardware, the compression... It could be anything. I will try to fix it in the next version.
